Weighing just 6.4lbs, the FlashFish EA300 is a compact, light and very portable device.
A 300Wh Lithium-ion battery outputs 330W continuous and 380W peak (surge) power.
An LCD screen offers full information on the condition and status of the EA300.
Virtually the same power station as the FlashFish E300, the differences being essentially cosmetic. Just like the E300, this model is designed to fulfill the needs of campers and everyone who wants to make the most of the freedom that the outdoor and adventurous life offers.
It has a compact body measuring 8.23 x5.19 x7.56 inches and is built to be light and easily transportable out on the trail or on the road. And homeowners will no doubt find the bright LED lighting a real boon when the grid goes down so they can safely find their way in the dark to power up some essential appliances.
Th 300Wh lithium-ion battery is managed by a Battery Management System (BMS) which provides protection from:
And a fan helps to ensure the unit remains within its operating temperature limits either when on charge or providing power to external devices.
If no appliances are connected to the unit, it will automatically turn off to save battery power.
The EA300 can be charged by at least three methods: AC wall outlet, solar panel(s) - (either 2x50W or 1x100W, and a car's 12V socket.
The time to recharge the EA300 can differ because of various factors, such as location, temperature, and weather conditions. But as a general guide you can expect times of about:
The control panel is designed for the easiest of operation. An LCD panel is included so you can keep a close eye on AC/DC input and output wattage, as well as the battery's condition in terms of remaining time and charging status.
The outlets include:
Both of the 330W continuous AC outlets have a momentary surge (peak) of 380W, and their Pure Sine Wave output provides a safe and steady stream of power that won't harm any of your sensitive electronic devices.
While gas-powered portable generators have an important, and sometimes vital, role to play in the lives of many people who have limited or no access to grid power, it's always a pleasure to be able at times to forget their noise and potentially dangerous fumes. And this is where portable power stations can step forward to supplement a portable generator when power needs are not so great. It might also be one of very few options for people who live in apartments and for obvious reasons are prohibited from using a portable generator.
Portable power stations are the top choice for adventurers who love hiking and camping because of their compact size, light weight and unrivaled portability.
Versatile power delivery to a multitude of devices, with availability of QC3.0 and Solar Panel fast charging.
Out on the trail, camping or trekking, the EA300 with a FlashFish 100W Solar Panel offers you an almost unlimited source of independent power.
The EA300 is packed with features so you can power your equipment on the go in a variety of ways using the AC, the USB and the 12V outlets. Plus this model has an LCD screen and a bright LED light.
Here is the User Guide for this model.
The EA300 is limited to a maximum of 330W using the AC outlets and you cannot exceed this limit. Always check the wattage of any appliance before making a connection.
Yes, the EA300 can be used and charged at the same time, but the LCD will only show the charging status.
No, portable power stations cannot normally take the place of a dedicated UPS.
2xFlashFish 50W Solar Panels in an array or 1xFlashFish 100W Solar Panel are recommended for maximum recharge times.
No, this is because the Li-on battery can be volatile, and the size exceeds what is normally permitted by the TSA for reasons of safety.
The only sound you may hear is the cooling fan, but this is only audible when standing close by.
One buyer has reported having been very dissatisfied with the Flashfish which failed to hold a charge. They found it a disappointment and a waste of time and money. Although this may have been a bad example, a replacement presented the same problem, suggesting a problem with quality control.

What a piece of junk. My first one model E300 would not run my CPAP but one hour. My wife and I have a cabin that's off grid and I needed the Fish Flash to power my CPAP. We returned it for one that on 100% charge will not charge my cell phone. I'm returning both not expecting a refund, but maybe they can be used as a fish hide. What a disappoitment and a waste of time and money!!! Robert Bain, MD. Tennessee
