1000W of continuous portable power

One of the more powerful and heavier devices at 26.5lbs but providing considerably more output than many other models on the market. Despite its weight it's fairly compact at 12.6x10.2x9.1 inches and is aimed especially at power users who want to make the most of the freedom for instance that RV camping and traveling offers.

Excellent Battery Safety and Life-Prolonging Technology

An advanced Battery Management System (BMS) ensures the stability and longer life of the non-replaceable 1100Wh lithium-ion battery by providing protection against:

  • Short-circuit
  • Over-discharge
  • Over-charging
  • Over-power
  • Over-heating
  • Over-current

The unit contains a fan to keep it within its operating temperature when being charged and when powering devices.

The unit will not turn off automatically when on and not in use so ensure to manually turn it off once you have finished using an AC port to avoid draining the battery unnecessarily. The DC ports will, however, switch off within 30 seconds when no load is attached.

Recharging the power station

The MARS-1000W can be charged by at least three methods: AC wall outlet, one or two solar panels - and a car's 12V socket. And using a portable generator provides an additional method.

Recharge times can vary according to ambient conditions, but as a very general guide you can expect times of about:

  • 8-10 hours from an AC wall outlet (AC adapter included)
  • 12-15 hours from a car port
  • 8 hours using two Lipower 100W Solar Panels that incorporate MPPT technology for rapid charging

Control Panel Power Outputs and Input

The control panel is simple and dominated by the multiple outputs and inputs. An easy to read small LCD panel is included so you can monitor the operation and condition of the device.

The three 1000W continuous AC outlets have an impressive momentary surge (peak) of 2000W, and their Pure Sine Wave output provides a safe and steady stream of power much the same as that from your home AC wall outlets, so you can safely connect sensitive electronic devices.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can this device power?

Remember that the AC output ports can charge devices only up to 1000W. To protect the unit, it will shut down automatically when this limit is exceeded causing an overload condition.

Can I use the power station while it is on charge?

Yes, but ensure the power station has at least 10% power remaining. (Also, if putting the unit into storage, recharge it every 3 to 6 months to ensure a longer battery cell life cycle).

What adapter cable is best for solar charging?

You can use a DC to MC4 (Anderson) cable to connect solar panel(s). One is included in the box.

How quickly can I recharge with a solar panel?

Recharging times can be affected by ambient conditions, but you can expect about 8 hours with two 100W solar panels connected and 17 hours with a one such panel.

Can I take this power station on a plane?

No, this is because Li-on batteries can be volatile and become unstable. Additionally, the total battery size far exceeds what is normally permitted by the TSA for reasons of safety.

Is the unit really silent?

The only sound you may hear is the cooling fan, but this may only be audible when standing near close by.
