Designed and engineered to be light, compact and safe

A relatively light and compact unit weighing 12.5lbs and measuring 12 x 9 x 6.1, so you can easily take this on road trips or camping as well as having a reserve source of power in your home to see you through short-term power outages or other emergencies. inches and , meaning you can take it just about anywhere.

Incorporating a high-capacity battery with industry standard safety

This Rockpals has a high-capacity and powerful 505.44Wh/140400mAh lithium-ion battery cell that delivers 500W continuous and 750W peak power capable of charging up to 9 devices simultaneously.

This kind of power output is sufficient to fully charge an iPhone 12 about 50x, a 12” MacBook about 9x, a drone (60Wh) about 7x. It can also power a camera for about 20 hours, a 20W fan for around 18 hours, and a 40W mini refrigerator for about 10 hours.

As lithium-ion batteries can be volatile power stations have a Battery Management System (BMS) built into the unit. They improve battery use and lengthen the useful life of the battery. They also ensures safe operation by monitoring and controlling voltage and temperature, as well as incorporating other advanced safety features such as automatic shutoff in cases of over-voltage or short-circuit.

What can this device power?

The PS500 is designed for portability and ease of use. It is ideal for smaller devices under 500W, such as smartphones, laptops and the like. It cannot, for example, charge a truck battery or jump start a vehicle.

Is it safe to leave the unit plugged in?

Yes, you can leave the unit plugged in. However, the recommendation is to unplug the unit once it is fully charged as this will extend the battery life.

Which Solar Panel can I use with this model?

While other suitable brands of solar panel can work with this model, the recommendation is to use either the 100W or 120W solar panel made by Rockpals.

Can I take this power station on a plane?

Most likely no as the Li-on battery size exceeds that permitted by the TSA for safety reasons.

Does this support pass-through charging?

Yes, but only for DC and USB. It does not support this on AC.

Can I use the unit outside when it's raining?

Although it is water-resistant, avoid using it in the rain. Light splashes are ok, but best to keep it in a water-tight container.

Does it have a regulated 12V power supply?

Yes, this model has a regulated 12V supply.
