Foldable and portable, the SP200 200W (paid link) is one of four varieties of solar panels made by Bluetti. With a high conversion efficiency of up to 23.4% and a monocrystalline solar cell, it also performs better in low light conditions compared to polycrystalline solar panels. Weighing 14.3lbs, it’s an ideal companion to get the most out of the EB150.

Ports and LCD Display

8 power outlets, among which are a regulated 12V DC, 4xUSB, 1xUSB Type C located on the front, and 2x110V AC at the rear of the unit, allow for multiple safe connections of all your electrical and electronic appliances (within the power rating of the model).

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the battery in this model?

The EB150 is fitted with LG High-Capacity Li-ion rechargeable batteries in a 4S3P configuration (3 separate groups of 4 cells in series then parallel) and includes a smart BMS (Battery Management System) to provide cell balancing, and various forms of protection.

Can I use a 200W Solar Panel with this model?

Yes, for example dual Bluetti SP200 solar panels in good sunlight will recharge the EB150 in about 6 hours. In terms of a third-party solar panel, note the maximum output current ≦10A, and maximum input power ≦ 500W.

Can I take this power station on a plane?

The Li-on battery size is greater than that permitted by the TSA, so for safety reasons the answer is no.

Can I use the unit while it’s on charge?

Yes, you can safely use the EB150’s power outputs within the power ratings, even when the unit is being charged. However, please bear in mind that charging the EB150 will take considerably longer.

Should I recharge it while it’s in storage?

A lithium-ion battery self-discharges about 5% in the first 24 hours after being fully charged and thereafter at about 5% per month. You should keep the battery at a minimum of 40% while in storage, so to be on the safe side, aim to charge the unit at least every 6 months.

Is the unit really silent?

You might hear the cooling fan that operates when necessary butand it’s only audible when standing close to the unit.
