Comprehensive variety of ports provided to power up to 10 devices at the same time.

Advanced technology delivery clean power on and off-grid

Now you can enjoy the virtual silence of this advanced power station, which brings you the latest in clean power technology, and can even be monitored and controlled by an App on your iPhone or Android device.

For the increasing number of people who live off-grid this is an excellent option to supplement and even reduce the costs of owning and running a traditional generator. It’s especially efficient when connecting a few low energy appliances, with users experiencing a duration of up to several days before needing to recharge. And it has possibly the fastest recharge times out there.

Excellent variety of outputs and ports

You can power up to 10 devices at the same time using its selection of outputs, which include:

  • 3 x 600Watt Pure Sinewave AC outlets
  • 2 x 5V USB-A
  • 1 x USB-A Fast Charge
  • 1 x USB-C
  • 1 x 12V Car Socket
  • 2 x DC5521ports

If you need to power even more devices, perhaps for traveling, camping, or group outdoor activities, or just to have an extended duration, you can add a RIVER Pro Extra Battery (paid link), which will double the capacity from 720Wh to 1440Wh.

While it operates optimally with devices rated up to 1200W, it is designed to power some devices up to 1800W when engaging the X-Boost mode, so you can power about 80% of essential devices like kitchen appliances and DIY tools.

Compact and reasonable light in weight weight

Considering its many features, the River Pro weighs just 16.8 lbs, making it highly portable and the perfect companion for every serious adventurer and camper who recognises the need for reliable and durable independent power away from utility power.

Ultra-Fast Recharge

Class leading recharge time won’t leave you hanging around. It takes just 1 hour to charge from 0 to 80%, made possible by the application of EcoFlow’s patented X-Treme Technology which is up to 10X faster than the competition.

Solar Charging

Link up to two compact EcoFlow 160W Solar Panels (paid link), the perfect partner for this model when out camping or just away from the grid. Each weighing 15.4lbs, IP67 dust and water resistant, they’re designed to produce maximum power at any time of the day, offering outstanding performance even on cold and cloudy days.

The River Pro has a great selection of output ports so you can connect up to 10 devices simultaneously within the rated maximum wattage. It includes 3 x AC 600W Pure Sinewave, 2 x 5V USB-A, 1 x USB-A Fast Charge, 1 x USB-C, 1 x Car Power, and 2 x DC5521 ports.

Mobile Control

Download the EcoFlow App so you can easily control and monitor your EcoFlow power station remotely. It’s available for both the iPhone and Android devices.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can this device power?

X-Boost technology can power devices up to 1800W, but it’s unsuitable for A/Cs, larger fridge-freezers and microwaves with a high peak power. A 600W microwave would be okay.

Can I use this as a UPS?

Not advisable. Connected devices won’t be powered if station is fully discharged.

Can I use a 200W Solar Panel with this model?

Yes, 200W and up to 25V is the max solar input. However, EcoFlow make 110W and 160W models suitable for this power station. Two 110W solar panels can be connected in parallel.

Can I take this power station on a plane?

No, the Li-on battery size exceed that permitted by the TSA for safety reasons.

Can I use the power station while it is on charge?

One comment on “Review of the EcoFlow River Pro”

  1. The ECO Flow River pro needs to have its on demand wattage raised to 2000 peak or surge watts and 1500 continues watts!
Granted, the power bank only weighs 17 lbs.
Takes 1 to 2 hours to fully charge, that makes the product a tab bit expensive- for off grid needs.
A few of The Solar Panel Configurations are also less than optimal for and off grid paradigm. If one panel can produce 48volts then 4 of them would provide 96 volts for two panels and. 192 total volts and an anticipated wattage of at least 500!
Plus! ECO Flow needs to understand, DIY solar needs can’t be packaged and marketed!
This product is only for the vacationer and weekender out and about.
