– At A Glance –

10 Devices

Excellent variety of outputs to connect up to10 devices within the overall 2000W limit.

2000W of Power

A 1460Wh EV-Grade Li-On battery – 2000W continuous and 4000W peak power.

Long Life

3,500+ charging cycles to 80% of its original capacity, up to 10 Years of use.

2000W of continuous portable power

On the one hand it is among the more powerful and heavier devices at 36lbs but on the other it provides considerably more output than many other power stations on the market. Despite its weight it’s fairly compact at 13x9x12 inches and is aimed especially at power users who want to make the most of the freedom for instance that RV camping and traveling offer.

Excellent Battery Safety and Life-Prolonging Technology

EV-Grade LiPO4 technology coupled with advanced Battery Management System (BMS) ensures the stability and longer life of the non-replaceable 1460Wh lithium-ion battery by providing protection against:

  • Short-circuit
  • Over-discharge
  • Over-charging
  • Over-power
  • Over-heating
  • Over-current

Expect the G1600L to cope with 3500+ charging cycles to 80% of its original capacity. This means it could have a life of 10 years.

The unit contains a fan which will start working if AC output is over 600W so as to cool down the power station to keep it within its operating temperature.

When the AC output power is lower than 5W for up to 3 hours, the AC will automatically turn off to save energy. When the DC output power < 2W for up to 1 hour, the DC ports will automatically turn off to save energy.

Recharging the power station

The 1600L can be charged by at least three methods: AC wall outlet, one or two Lipower 100W Solar Panels – and a car’s 12V socket. Recharge times can vary according to ambient conditions

Control Panel Power Outputs and Input

The control panel is simple and dominated by the multiple outputs and inputs. An easy to read small LCD panel is included so you can monitor the operation and condition of the device.

Lipower G1600l Control Panel
  • 3x110V 2000W (Peak 4000W) AC Pure Sine Wave
  • 3xDC 12V~16.8V/168W Max
  • 2xUSB (5V/2.4A)
  • 1 QC 3.0 USB output
  • 1xDC Solar Input (18V~30V 8A max,200W max)
  • 1xType-C Output PD60W

The three 2000W continuous AC outlets have a momentary surge (peak) of 2000W, and their Pure Sine Wave output produced means that the output is a lot like that you get from your home AC wall outlets. So, you can safely connect sensitive electronic devices. (Remember, the combined total usable AC output is 2000W).

Eco-friendly clean indoor and outdoor power

What sets portable power stations apart from portable generators is their virtually silent operation and much safer use in general. For example, they are much lighter in weight, you don’t need to make arrangements for the safe storage of fuel and they do not give off any of the toxic carbon monoxide gas. They are also one of the only solutions for people living in apartments. Nevertheless, portable power stations can be a useful addition for people who own a portable generator for use when power needs are limited.

Warranty

The LiPower 1600L has a 24-month warranty that applies solely to the original owner and cannot be transferred.

Here is the User Manual for this model.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can this device power?

Remember that the AC output ports can operate with devices only up to 2000W. To protect the unit, it will shut down automatically when this limit is exceeded causing an overload condition.

Can I use the power station while it is on charge?

Yes, but it’s not recommended because it can damage the battery and reduce its life.

What adapter cable is best for solar charging?

You can use a DC to MC4 (Anderson) cable to connect solar panel(s). One is included in the box.

How quickly can I recharge with a solar panel?

Recharging times can be affected by ambient conditions, but you can expect about 8 hours with two 100W solar panels connected and 17 hours with a one such panel.

Can I take this power station on a plane?

No, this is because Li-on batteries can be volatile and become unstable. Additionally, the total battery size far exceeds what is normally permitted by the TSA for reasons of safety.

Is the unit really silent?

The only sound you may hear is the cooling fan.
